This research goal is to evaluate the behavior of the Land Temperature Surface identified in the administrative regions 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the city of Cariacica-ES in 2013. This process is accomplished through the orbital remote sensing images, especially of the TIR sensor of the Landsat satellite-8. The results of the mapping of the Land Temperature Surface were correlated with the map of use and coverage of the Earth by the automatic classifier MAXVER showing close association between the warmer areas with Urban classes and Grassland/Soil Exposed. Already the class vegetation cover was the one that showed the lowest Land Temperature Surface around the cutout space, being the responsible for the areas of greater freshness front of context found. In this sense, this research shows how disseminator of geotechnologies and Remote Sensing in subsidy to urban climate studies.
